    By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to Read and understand the general and detail of the text, listen and recognize the after school activities.
    II. KNOWLEDGE:
    1. Vocabulary: -acting ( n )/ pastime ( n )/ theater group ( n )/ rehearse ( v )/ anniversary ( n )/ celebration ( n ) /
    President ( n )/ sporty ( adj )/ Comic ( n)
    2. Structures: -Review simple present tense
    3. Pronunciation: intonations of the questions and answers.
    III.SKILLS AND TEACHING AIDS:
    1. Skills: -main skills: reading and listening
    -Sub-skills: speaking and writing
    2. Teaching aids: textbook, colored chalk, 2 sub-board for the questions A 3, A 4, a stereo,3 pictures of A 3 about after school activities.

    - Divide the class into 4 groups.
    - Each group has to write adverbs of frequency as much as possible.
    - The group has more correct ones is the winner.




    -Ask ss some questions about their after school activities.
    What do you usually do after school?
    -Show the pictures about Thu, Ba and Nam, then ask ss.
    What do they usually do after school?
    -Introduce the new lesson to ss.
    In this lesson, you will know more about some after school activities.
    -Pre-teach the vocabulary and structures to ss, can use the pictures to explain the new words.
    -Have ss to read the words chorally and individually.
    -Repeat and tell the meaning of the words and phrases.
    -Write the words on the board and have read the words chorally, use rub-out and remember to check ss’ vocabulary.
    -Show the T/F statements about the text, have ss guess the answers.
    -Have ss close books and listen to A 3 once, and check T/F.
    -Compare the answers with friends.
    -Re read their answers aloud.
    -Look at the textbook and listen again, can correct the answers.
    -Give ss the correct answers.
    -Show the questions given.
    -Have ss read the questions chorally.
    -Read the text A 3 silently and answer the questions.
    -Compare the answers with friends.
    -Practice asking and answering in pairs freely.
    -Check some pairs at the rest of the class can correct their mistakes, can write the answers on the board.
    -Ss correct the mistakes.
    -Give the feedback.
    -Repeat the answers chorally and copy them in the copybook.

    -Ask ss to read the text again.
