By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to practice with “How far….?” to talk about distances.

2. Teaching aids: textbook, colored chalk, a sub-board for the questions and answers, a stereo, a map of roads.

*In this lesson, you’ll ask and answer about the distances between two places.
-Introduce the situation of the dialogue A 4 to ss: Lan and Hoa are talking about the distances between the places.

-Explain the structures to ss.

-Have ss repeat the structures chorally.






-Ask ss to make questions and answers using the structures.
-Check some ss and correct their mistakes.

-Give ss the opened dialogue, ask ss to predict the missing numbers.
-Have ss listen to the dialogue once and check the answers.

-Ask and answer in pairs about the distances between the communes, provinces…their houses to school about guiding the way, using the map.
