    Unit 3: At home
    I. Objectives:
    *Section A: What a lovely home!
    - After the lesson, Ss will be able to use the exclamations by giving compliments and complaints, they will learn about the things in the bathroom and the kitchen and review vocabularies about the things in the house and prepositions of position, using structures : There isThere are
    *Section B: Hoa’s family.
    - By the end of the lesson, Ss will learn about jobs and job vocabulary. They will apply the in the life, know the work of each job, and listen to the tape in order to know the information then complete the forms.
    - Use comparatives and superlatives of irregular adjectives and long adjectives . They can use them fluently and apply in the life.

    - Asks Ss to write the things in the kitchen and in the living room.
    - Calls on 2 Ss to go to the board and write down.

    A: WHAT A LOVELY HOME!
    Period 14: Lesson 1: A1
    A1. Listen. Then practice with a partner.
    - Asks Ss to look at the picture on the bb and ask:
    What is this?
    How is it?
    - Presents the new lesson to Ss.
    - Asks Ss some questions about their home.
    How many rooms are there in your house?
    What are they?
    What is in each room?
    - Introduces the situation of the lesson, then explain some new words:
    + Awful (adj): tệ, xấu
    + Comfortable (adj): tiện nghi
    + Amazing (adj): đáng ngạc nhiên
    + Sink (n): chậu rửa chén, chậu rửa mặt
    + Tub (n): bồn tắm
    + Washing machine (n ) : máy giặt
    + Dryer (n) : máy sấy + Refrigerator (n) : tủ lạnh
    + Dish washer (n) : máy rửa chén
    + Electric stove (n) : bếp điện
    + Convenient (adj): thuận tiện
    - Lets them listen and repeat in choral, then individual.
    - Asks Ss to look at the book and listen to the tape.
    - Lets them make a list of things in the bathroom, bedroom and in the kitchen.
    - Asks Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs.
    - Calls on some pairs to role-play before class.
    - Asks them to listen and repeat the questions on page 30.
    - Asks them to read the dialogue again. Then work in groups to find the answers.
    - Has some Ss to give the answers on the bb.
    - Checks and give the correct answers.
    Answer keys:
    a) Hoa and Lan talk about living room, Hoa’s room, bathroom and kitchen.
    b) Because it is bright and it has nice colors.
    c) A sink, a tub and a shower.
    d) A washing machine, a dryer, a refrigerator, a dish washer, and an electric stove.
    - Asks Ss to practice for questions e and f in pairs.
    - Calls on some pairs to ask and answer before class.

    Period: 15 Lesson 2: A2, 3, R
    A2. Write an exclamation:
    - Asks Ss to read the dialogue again and find the exclamations.
    - Calls on some Ss to read aloud.
    - Introduces the exclamations to Ss.
    EX: What a hot day! ( Today is very hot )
    What a boring film! ( The film is very boring.)
    - Gives some situations , then asks Ss to make exclamations.
    + That hat is nice.
    + That girl is beautiful.
    + This room is bright.
    + This is an interesting book.
    - Has Ss to give the structure


    - Calls on some Ss to write on the bb. Then checks.
    - Asks Ss to practice making exclamations using given cues in the book.
    - Calls on some Ss to read their writing loudly .
