I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge: After the lesson, Ss will be able to ask and answer about the parts of a body.
2. Skill: improve speaking and writing skills.
3. Attitude: being interested in the new topic.

- Check for attendance.

1. A1: Listen and read:
- T presents some new words:
a head
two shoulders
two arms
a chest
a leg Picture and real person in the class.
toe - Rub out and remember.

- Show the picture to Ss.
- Play the tape for Ss to practice listening to the pronunciation of the new word.
- Get Ss to practice pronouncing after.
- Call some Ss to practice pronouncing aloud.
- T calls 1 S to go in front of the class and ask Ss to say the name of the part of a body where T points to.
2. A2: Practice:
- Ask Ss to study the examples.
- Give some more real examples to make clear:
S1: What is that ?
S2: That is a head.
S1: What are those ?
S2: They are fingers.
- Ask Ss to practice in pairs.
- Call some pairs to practice aloud.
- Give some remarks.
4. Consolidation:12’
- Sing an English song: “head, shoulders, knees and toes..”
- Give futher practice on saying the parts of a body.
T draws a big head on board and introduces for ss about names on the head: eyes, nose, ears, mouth, lips, tooh (teeth), chin, cheeks…

- Do the Ex 1 in workbook.
- Prepare for the next lesson.

Game: Two ss go to board to draw a head follow the T’s words while their eyes are being covered.

- Ss look at the pictures and guess the new words.
- T explains the new words:
tall >< short
thin >< fat
heavy >< light
- Give some examples to make clear the way to practice those adjectives:
Hoa is short.

- Ss listen to the tape, then practice reading the sentences silently.
- Call some Ss to practice reading aloud.
- Ask some Ss to use the words in the text to describe some of their friends.
- Give some remarks.
