    How are you?
    Today we’re going to review the main grammar points of English 8.
    Review
    - Ask Ss to retell some forms and uses of tenses that they have learnt in English 8 program.










    - Divide the class into 3 groups and ask Ss discuss to make examples.
    - Remark and correct



    - Ask the class to retell forms of passive voice

    - Divide the class into 2 groups, and ask Ss discuss to change 2 sentences into the passive
    - Remark and correct

    - Listen and retell
    + Past simple tense.

    Getting started.
    -T asks students
    Do you have any pen pals?
    - Do you have any friends abroad / in the North / in the South?
    - Do you like to have pen pals?
    - T. Now let’s imagine you have a foreign pen pal who is coming to visit you for the first time. He / She is going to stay with you for a week. What activities would you do during the visit?
    -S. answer: We’ll take him/ her to Vung Tau beach, Ba Ria market, Suoi Tien, Nha Rong Harbor…
    -T gets students to look at the pictures in their books and tell what and where they are.
    -S. see festival, visit the Temple of Literature, go to Dong Xuan Market, go to the History Museum,…
    -T. asks students if they want to take their friends to these places or not.
    * Pre – reading :
    - T. introduces the content of the text: Razali Maryam- Lan’s penpal. She comes from Kuala Lumpur. She visited Lan in Hanoi. Lan took her to many interesting places. Maryam liked Hanoi very much. Now you scan the text and see what places they visited.
    * While reading :
    - S. read the text and answer
    - T. writes on the board and gives feedback.
    - T. Do you see any new words
    -S. may give some
    T. has S read the text again and choose the correct option to complete the sentences in page 7.
    * Post reading :
    -T asks S to give the answers after they
